Artemis Plastics is a full-service contract manufacturer located in Ocala, Florida. It specializes in the manufacturing of injection-molded plastic components. Artemis Plastics offers an in-house tooling room, an environmentally controlled space, and a Class 8 Clean Room for the assembly of sensitive devices. It is a one-stop-shop for injection molding projects, serving domestic and international medical, industrial, and consumer markets.  

 

Challenge:  

Artemis Plastics was looking to increase its plant utilization rate and boost its overall growth. However, in a competitive environment, how can Artemis Plastics increase their revenues without generating more business leads? It became clear to the management team at Artemis Plastics that they needed a new marketing approach by partnering with a strong marketing team. 

 

How Upper Iron Helped: 

Upper Iron first developed a robust marketing strategy that took into consideration Artemis Plastics’ vision and business goals. It then started to implement the recommended and approved action plan. Some of the activities undertook by Upper Iron included:

  • Refreshing Artemis Plastics’ logo and building a new brand book

Results: 

Several publications in industry outlets have led to significant exposure nationally and a boost of Artemis Plastics‘ brand awareness. We also noted an increase in the number of social media followers and the total number of leads. As a result, Artemis Plastics was able to grow 30% since the beginning of its partnership with Upper Iron.

Customer Overview: 

TechnoMed, a subsidiary of Italian manufacturer Tecnoideal, provides quality machines and services to the medical plastic tubing assembly market. Their offerings include customized automation and solutions for the bonding, cutting, leak & pressure testing of medical plastic tubing. TechnoMed serves customer operations in the North and South American regions.  

 

Challenge:  

TechnoMed was looking to launch its most advanced solvent dispenser machine yet: the DS-Vision. However, they needed the support of a proven marketing team to ensure a successful outcome. They also felt it was time for them to clarify where to play and how to win. 

 

How Upper Iron Helped: 

First, Upper Iron helped define TechnoMed’s new business  and marketing strategy. 
Then it formulated and executed a robust plan for the new product launch that included: 
  • PR campaign with press release and press kit.
  • Prepping TechnoMed for its presence at a renowned industry trade show in California. The activities involved designing the new booth and updating TechnoMed’s trade show profile  
  • Marketing collateral including in-depth product brochure and a professional video that highlighted the machine’s features and benefits
  • Pre-trade show and post-trade show email marketing campaign

 

Results:

TechnoMed was featured in seven (7) industry publications. Those publications and the pre-show email marketing campaign led to an increase in TechnoMed’s brand awareness and additional buzz for the new DS-Vision machine. 
Following the trade show, TechnoMed saw a net rise of 20% in the total number of leads compared to the previous year.
